I think what happened is they were signed up using the old guest system but when char removed it they lost all their progress

LM024RL yea but there is tons of authors like that for old tracks, go on random until you find a blank gravatar account that posted 1 decade ago and they normally have little to no interactions with the game other than making one or two quality tracks
